“The driver and tour guide were were nice. We were taken to three temples and were given a thorough introduction to the Krishna religion, history and culture. Of course the highlight is the elephant rescue center. I can assure you it is a proper rescue center and not a tourist attraction (hence, no touching, feeding, riding allowed). What I am bit disappointed tho is that despite the higher price compare to other trips, only 20% what you pay actually goes to the elephant center. Organisers must either lower their price or contribute more to the good cause.”
